La Fonda de los Príncipes is a place steeped in history. These walls have witnessed travellers from all over the world who, for centuries, found here a place to rest before continuing their journey.

In those days, the way to share a trip was by sending a postcard to loved ones. An image, a few handwritten words and a stamp were enough to bring a piece of Madrid to any corner of the world.

The world has changed. Instant messaging has replaced postal mail, and phone photos have taken the place of illustrated postcards. But at La Fonda, we like to revive old traditions.

That is why we have left a postcard on your bed. Write it, dedicate it to whoever you wish, and hand it in at reception. We will take care of sending it.
